An elegant and comfortable, finely carved and gilt French Louis XVI style 'Bergere a Oreilles' wingback armchair, the frame decorated with Neoclassical motifs such as laurel wreath pattern mouldings, acanthus leaves and paterae, the backrest with a finials. Area of Paris, circa 1880.

This item due to arrive in Melbourne around the end of 2025.

Condition report: In very good and original, unrestored condition.

Dimensions: Width 75 cm, depth 55 cm, height of backrest 109 cm, height of seat 50 cm.
