A Louis XVI Bergere Armchair

A fine and elegant 19th century French Louis XVI style, carved 'Bergere a Oreilles' wingback 'Bergere' armchair standing on tapering and fluted legs, the timber frame decorated with hand carved continuous-ribbon mouldings and with floral motifs. Please note the excellent walnut patination. Area of Paris, circa 1880.

This item due to arrive in Melbourne around the end of 2025.

Condition report: In good, as found condition, the fabric requiring a steam clean. Please feel free to ask for a restoration quote from our workshop.
