A pair of 19th century French Louis XVI style 'Medici' cast iron urns decorated with Classical gadrooned mouldings and with flared top edges, standing on square plinths. The surfaces of the urns beautifully weathered and with a patina of lichens and mosses. Area of Isle de France (Greater Paris), circa 1880.


Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition, showing surface wear in keeping with its age and outdoor use. A small break on the rear of a rim.
Dimensions: Height (circa) 70 cm.
