A French Scrollwork Grille

A 19th century French Napoleon III period cast iron balcony grille decorated with geometric and scrollwork patterns, a Classical Greek head at the centre. This grille can be used as a balcony or balustrade, or, our workshop can build to measure a traditional French "cache-radiateur" type of console table using this grille (please see photos below). Area of paris, circa 1870.

Condition report: In good and original condition showing suitable age. No breakages. The grille has several coats of old crackled paint. This can be left as a finish, or the grille can be cleaned back.
