A solid Walnut Farmhouse Table

An early 19th century French provincial farmhouse table in solid walnut wood, the wide-planked top standing on simple, tapering legs. A shallow drawer is fitted into one of the long rails. Area of the Loire Valley, circa 1820. Note the magnificent rich tonalities of the original patina, which will become very luminous once cleaned, waxed and buffed.
