A Painted Louis XV Bergere

A comfortable and harmoniously-shaped 19th century French Louis XV style carved and Trianon grey painted Bergere armchair, upholstered in silk brocade as was done in the 18th century style, with a separate seat cushion. The original painted finish has a nicely worn, chalky patina. Area of Paris, circa 1880.

Condition report: In excellent, unrestored condition. The silk brocade is in good, clean condition.

Dimensions: Height of 88 cm, width 66 cm, depth 50 cm.
