A very fine and elegant 19th century French Louis XVI style carved, painted and parcel gilt Bergere a Oreilles (a wing-back Bergere armchair), retaining the old gorse hair-stuffed upholstery, still in usable condition. Note the excellent patination of the painted finish. Paris, circa 1880.
