A French Gothic Lantern

A 19th century French Gothic style faceted lantern, decorated with finely wrought, fretted and riveted iron scrolls and with leadlight glass panels. The pediment is decorated with large pressed tin foliate scrolls. Originally fitted as a gas light, later electrified. Area of Rouen, Normandy, circa 1880.

Condition report: Complete and in good and original condition, requiring to be re-wired to Australian safety standards.

Dimensions: 30 x 30 cm, height 70 cm (plus any required length of chain).
