A fine Venetian Mirror

A large and very fine mid-19th century Venetian 'Margin" mirror of excellent design and proportions, fitted with a blown-glass foliate 'Cartouche' crest etched with St. Mark's "Lion of Venice" motif, the central mirror-plate surrounded by angled mirrors etched with foliate-trellis motifs. The frame is decorated with blown and cut glass and etched floral designs.

Condition report: In good and fully restored condition.
