A large and well-proportioned 19th century French Louis XV style, finely carved beechwood wing-back Bergere armchair. Upholstered with a separate seat cushion, making it very comfortable to sit in. Note the excellent, well-worn patina of the carved and moulded timber frame. Paris, circa 1880.
