A Louis XVI Queen size Bed

A 19th century French Louis XVI style finely carved and painted upholstered bed, comprising an arched bed head and footer decorated with haut-relief carved mouldings, the same moulding patterns repeated on the side rails. This bed will take a standard Queen size mattress (which is 152 cm wide) if the full width of the bed is used. Our shop can build a suitable slatted base for this bed, if required. (Mattress and base not included). Area of Paris, circa 1880.
