A Paris Porcelain Compote Vase

A 19th century French Napoleon III period 'Old Paris' white porcelain compote Classical vase, the bowl and rim parcel gilt with 23K gold leaf, and decorated with finely-fretted (reticulated) patterns. Please note, this is a potter's virtuoso work, where any fault in the manufacture would end up cracking in the kiln. Area of Paris, circa 1880.

Condition report: In good and un-restored condition. A small and old repaired crack in the fretted porcelain bowl.
