A French Louis XV style carved and gilt mirror, the elegantly shaped frame decorated with scrollwork and foliate motifs, the shaped pediment surmounted by a large foliate motif crest with a central 'torch and quiver' motif. Made with fine workmanship, typical of the fine cabinetmaking workshops of the Parisian 'Faubourg Saint Antoine' district. Area of Paris, circa 1960.
