An early 19th century French Empire period chest of drawers, the book-matched flame mahogany façade fitted with four drawers flanked by pilasters fitted with finely cast, chased and gilt brass capitols and plinths. The drawers are decorated with the original Neoclassical pull-handles and the laurel wreath key escutcheons. Retaining the original, dark grey "Saint Anne" marble top and all drawer locks. Area of Paris, circa 1810.
