A 19th century ebonised bentwood hat and coat stand of classic design, the pediment with curved timber hooks, the plinth with concentric timber circles for placing walking sticks and umbrellas. Made by the Famous bentwood furniture designer and manufacturer Thonet. Area of Vienna, circa 1880.
