A fine Louis XV style, solid oak serpentine-fronted Provencale commode of very harmonious proportions, the timbers well-burnished and with a luminous and dry patina. Of excellent cabinetmaking quality, retaining the original gilt brass handles. Area of Southern France, early 20th century.
