A fine pair of French Empire style, finely cast , chased and gilt brass lamps in the shape of fluted pilasters, the surfaces decorated with finely etched, geometrical Classical patterns. Fitted with handmade pleated silk lampshades. Area of Paris, circa 1930.

Condition report: In good and un-restored condition. Fully rewired to Australian safety standards using gold silk electrical cords, with cord-switches.
Dimensions: Height 35 cm, diameter plinths 10 cm.
