A fine French Provincial Buffet

A mid 18th century French Provincial, Louis XV period haut-relief carved, solid cherrywood Provencale Buffet of very good proportions, the front fitted with three drawers and two shaped doors that open completely - including the central transom, the façade decorated with stylised foliate scrollwork, climbing roses and with a 'basket of abundance' on the plinth. Retaining the original fruitwood patina and all the original brass fittings. Area of Provence, circa 1750.
