A French Louis XV Chandelier

A French Louis XV style, six light gilt brass chandelier of fine quality, decorated with scrolling 'Roccaille' and foliate motifs. The chandelier is of outstanding metalwork quality and has an excellent gilt colour. It retains its original chain and ceiling cup. Area of Paris, circa 1950.

Condition report: Complete and in excellent condition. Rewired to Australian safety standards using silk electrical cords.
Dimensions: Diameter 38 cm, height 36 cm plus chain. Current drop 112 cm. Please let us know if you require a specific drop from your ceiling and we can supply a length of suitable chain.
