A French Louis XVI Bookcase

A French provincial Louis XVI style two-part painted bookcase, the open top section decorated with four carved and tuned Ionic Order pilasters with capitols and plinths, above a lower-section with three doors decorated with well-moulded panelling. Internally fitted with the original shelves and externally with three pull-out slides. Please note the nicely worn painted finish. Area of the Greater Paris, circa 1960.
