A 19th century French oil on canvas landscape painting depicting a rural scene in the courtyard of a tavern, in the 17th century style of David Teniers II, depicting people in 1600's dress, horses against a tavern and trees in the background. Signed on the bottom-left "A. Duval" (Alix Duval, born in France in 1848). Fitted into its original 19th century gilt frame, with repairable damage. France, circa 1880.
