A 19th century French Napoleon III period, Louis XVI style, carved and gilt oval mirror, the Neoclassical frame decorated with fine haut-relief oak leaf and acorn patterns and with stylised foliate mouldings. The gilding retains the original, nicely worn patina. Fitted with the original mirror plate. Area of Paris, circa 1870.
