A fine, vintage French Louis XVI style gilt brass ‘Montgolfière’ chandelier of eight lights, decorated with waterwheel-cut crystal drip-trays, with 'pencil' cut crystals, and with long chains of crystals above a 'crystal-chain basket'. Of excellent, Classical proportions and with fine quality crystals and workmanship. Area of Paris, circa 1970. 

Please note: this item is due in Melbourne in mid 2026.

Condition report: In excellent and original, unrestored condition. Requiring to be rewired to Australian safety standards.
Dimensions: Diameter 52 cm, height 70 cm plus chain and ceiling cup. Please enquire if you require a specific 'drop' from your ceiling.
