An 18th Century French Commode

An elegant and understated French Louis XVI period, faded solid cherrywood commode of three drawers of simple, Neoclassical design, the timbers very nicely burnished over time, retaining its original gilt brass ring handles and escutcheons. Please note the elegance of this commode, standing on finely turned 'Jacob' style legs. Area of Isle de France (Greater Paris), circa 1780.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition, showing some small histori repairs. Please feel free to ask for a restoration quote from our workshop.
