A mid 19th century French Napoleon III period, Louis XV style mirror, the well-moulded gilt frame decorated with foliate motifs and with a fretted 'rocaille' crest. The original gilt finish is nicely worn and dulled by age. Retaining the original glass plate. Area of Paris, circa 1870.
