An early 19th century French Louis Philippe period blond oak commode of four drawers, of excellent Classical proportions. Typically of this period, the overall design of this commode was kept simple, unadorned and architectural in form. Please note the luminous quality of the oak timbers. Area of Isle de France, (Greater Paris) circa 1830.
