A French Desk Lamp

A French polished brass swivelling desk lamp, the heavy circular base supporting a vertical shaft and finial, to which the swivelling and adjustable-height arm is attached. Retaining the original Louis XVI style blown glass 'tulip' shade. Area of Paris, circa 1930.

Condition report: Complete and in good condition, rewired to Australian safety standards using gold silk electrical cords with a cord switch.

Dimensions: Overall height 46 cm.
