A vintage Austrian "Brutalist" Standard light attributed to 20th century designer and sculptor Franz West (Vienna 1947-2012), made from old and well-patinated chain links, standing on four curved feet also made from chain links. Fitted with a period lampshade. Area of Vienna, circa 1980.

Condition report: Complete and in excellent condition. Rewired to Australian safety standards using black silk electrical cords and a foot-switch. Please enquire if wanting to re-cover or replace the lampshade.
Dimensions: Height to lightbulb holder 150 cm. Overall height 180 cm.
