A 19th century French Napoleon III period oval and scalloped edge 'paper maché' tray decorated in the Chinoiserie style, with gilt and lacquer orientalist figures carrying a sedan chair, pagodas and boats in the background. Area of Paris, circa 1870.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition, showing slight surface wear in keeping with its age.
