A pair of 19th century French "Chesterfield" Club style leather armchairs upholstered in the original diamond-buttoned tan leather and bronze stud edging, standing on turned legs. Retaining the original, nicely worn patina and the original caster wheels. Area of Paris, circa 1880.

Condition report: This pair of armchairs is in exceptionally good condition for their age. The leather has light surface crackling but no tears or stains. The stuffing and springs are in good order.

Dimensions: Width 80 cm, depth 63 cm, height of backrests 85 cm, of seats 41 cm.
