A 19th century French Louis XV style 'Buffet Vaisselier' of good French provincial design, the lift-off top section fitted with sturdy shelves for displaying plates and platters, the lower section with two shallow drawers above two ample doors decorated with shaped and moulded panelling. Internally fitted with a sturdy shelf. Retaining its original lock and key.  Area of Rouen, Normandy, circa 1860.
