An elegant Parisian Chandelier

A fine 19th century French Louis XVI style bronze and crystal ‘cage’ chandelier of eight lights, of a size suitable for a dining or a drawing room. This chandelier is decorated with large sized waterwheel-cut and shaped crystal drops, fitted to an elegant twist-turned central baluster. Note the quality of the central baluster and of fine, shaped and scalloped drip trays on each light. Area of Paris, circa 1880.

Condition report: In excellent and original condition, fully restored and rewired to Australian safety standards using silk electrical cord.
Dimensions: Diameter 70 cm, height 80 cm plus chain and ceiling cup. Please let us know if you require a specific drop from your ceiling.
