A large, handmade pure wool Geometric Medallion Herati Design rug decorated with traditional patterns in red, ochre, blue and rust tonalities. A maker's signature on one of the borders. Area of Afghanistan, mid 20th century.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition, showing slight surface wear in keeping with its age. Now professionally washed.
Dimensions: 3 x 2 metres.
