A large, vintage French woven steel basket used in orchards in Normandy for harvesting apples. Retaining sturdy handles. This basket will make a wonderful firewood basket, or, inverted it can be used as a ceiling light that casts linear shadows on the ceiling and walls. Miguel has two of these baskets available. Area of Calvados, circa 1950.
