A mid 19th century French Napoleon III, Louis XVI style parcel gilt and painted Trumeau mirror of Neoclassical proportions. Surmounted by a pediment with an oil painting insert, which is inspired by the works by Francois Boucher, Paris, 1703-1770, which were originally commissioned by Madame de Pompadour. The façade is decorated with haut-relief carved knotted bows, ribbons and with trellises of leaves. Retaining the original gilt finish and the original mirror plate. Paris, circa 1870.
