A vintage French blown glass mortar and pestle typical of the distinctive work of the “Verrerie de Biot”, showing a myriad of trapped air bubbles inside the luminous, hand-blown translucent green glass. Signed 'Biot' on the underside. Area of Biot, South of France, circa 1970.

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing very slight wear in keeping with its use and age.
