A French Charles X Portrait

An early 19th century French Charles X period oil on canvas painting of the Parisian soprano Antoinette-Eugénie Rigaut, made famous by her role in the opera "La Dame Blanche", composed by François-Adrien Boieldieu, which debuted in Paris in 1825 and was very successful and influential to later opera styles. The painting is initialled at the bottom right and dated 1824. Retaining the original, period gilt frame.
