A rare, contemporary French Modernist design, glazed faience tea set inspired by the Art Deco style, with the two tea cups fitting into the sides of the tea pot. Designed and signed by renown contemporary potter Martial Quéré for Vallauris, the winner of the "Prix du meilleur ouvrier de France" (best artisan in France) in 2000. Area of SW France, circa 2000.

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing very slight wear in keeping with its age. A small, repairable chip on one of the tea cups.
