A large pair of Louis XV Bergere Wing Armchairs

A pair of large and well-proportioned French Louis XV style, finely carved beechwood wingback “Bergere a Oreilles” armchairs. These armchairs are upholstered with a separate down-feather seat cushions, for extra comfort. Please note the good lean of the backrests, which make it very comfortable to sit in these armchairs. Area of Paris, circa 1900.

Price is for the pair of armchairs.

Condition report: In very good and un-restored condition, the frames requiring a clean and a wax & buff. The velvet fabric is worn through in places and needs replacing.
Dimensions: Width 70 cm, depth 90 cm, height of backrest 106 cm.
