A vintage four-panel screen made from two 18th century French Chateau's 'volets', the type of solid and secure window shutters used on the ground floor of a home. Retaining a wonderful and soft patina, the rear of the shutters showing the residual rust marks of the original hinges. Area of Isle de France (Greater Paris), circa 1780.

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing only slight wear in keeping with its age and use.
