A large, early 17th century French Louis XIV period, copper-plate etching depicting the Fountain of Latona and a perspective of of the gardens and the Chateau of Versailles. Etched by by Adam Perelle (1638-1695). Perelle was an engraver to the King Louis XIV and worked from his atelier in Rue St. Jacques a la Victoire in Paris.This etching has now been framed and mounted to Museum standards.
