Before

After

When these doors were found in France they were painted a strong red. Once sold, they were stripped back to the natural oak, shortened in height to suit the house, and fully restored. They were to be fitted onto the front of a beach house, and therefore were finished with clear marine varnish and fitted with fly screens and safety glass.

When these large double French doors were purchased in France they were painted with a vivid red paint finish. After they were sold and on the request of our buyer, these doors were stripped in a non caustic bath, underwent structural timber restorations and then were finished to display the wonderful, natural timber grain.
