A fine, 19th century French Napoleon III period, Louis XV style carved walnut 'Fauteuil à la Reine' armchair with an upholstered seat, back-rest and arm-rests and retaining a well-worn tapestry fabric. Note the broadness of the proportions, which makes this a comfortable drawing room armchair. Area of Paris, circa 1860.

Condition report: In good and unrestored condition, showing wear in keeping with its age.
Dimensions: Width 69 cm, height of back rest 97 cm.
