A French Louis XVI Queen Size Bed

A very fine, late 19th century Parisian Louis XVI style carved solid ‘plum pudding’ mahogany and 'bird's eye' maple Queen size bed, the bed head and footer decorated with fine gilt brass inlays, brass mounts including paterae, fluting (in the pilasters), mouldings and foliate scroll finials. Area of Paris, circa 1880. Our workshop is able to extend the rails of this bed to accommodate a standard 203 cm long mattress. Please enquire re options for this. SOLD TO J.W.
