A French Buffet Deux-Corps

An elegant, 18th century French Regence period solid oak "Buffet Deux-Corps" of fine quality and excellent proportions, decorated with an outsized pediment and well-carved haut-relief mouldings. Retaining the original, nicely-faded and luminous patination, the original locks and keys and the original, internal shelves. The four doors open up completely, including the central door-transoms, two shallow drawers open at the centre of the facade. Area of Isle de France (Greater Paris), circa 1730.
