A fine, late 19th century French Louis XV style carved and painted two door Armoire, the shaped doors fitted with bronze mesh. Note elegantly curved pediment with its out-sized foliate scroll motifs, and the very fine, Parisian quality of the carvings. Internally with a shelf fitted with two drawers. Note the excellent, worn patina of the original milk paint finish. Area of Paris, circa 1880.
