A French Louis XV 'Bergere' Wing Armchair

A large and well-proportioned 18th century French Louis XV period, finely carved beechwood wing-back 'Bergere a Oreilles' wing-back armchair. Recently upholstered, with a separate down-feather seat cushion for extra plushness. The very good width and depth ensure that it very comfortable to sit in. Please note the wonderful lean of the back-rest. Area of Paris, circa 1750. 

Condition report: In excellent and original, unrestored condition.
Dimensions: Width 73 cm, depth 62 cm, height of seat 43 cm, height of backrest 106 cm.
