An early 20th century French Louis XV style carved beechwood (Bergères a Oreilles) wing-back library armchair retaining its original, matching tabouret foot stool. Of excellent and large proportions and very comfortable to sit on. Note the graceful lines and the good depth and broadness and also the fine quality of the hand-carved mouldings. Area of Paris, circa 1930.
