A fine Parisian Duchesse Brisée

A rare and fine mid 19th century, Napoleon III period Parisian Louis XV style carved and Trianon grey painted and upholstered two-piece Duchesse Brisée, (a large armchair with its fitted, long tabouret stool). Designed for comfort and relaxation. Area of Paris, circa 1860.

Condition report: In excellent, fully restored condition. Re-upholstered with separate down feather cushions, and left with hessian covering. Our shop can help to suggest and to supply suitable covering fabric.

Dimensions: Length 195 cm, at its widest 74 cm, height of back-rest 95 cm.
