A pair of Louis XVI Bergere Armchairs

A pair of elegant and comfortable, finely carved and gilt French Louis XVI style "Bergeres a Oreilles" wingback armchairs, the frames decorated with Neoclassical motifs such as ‘continuous ribbon’ pattern mouldings, acanthus leaves and paterae, the backrest with a knotted ribbon and flower motif crest.
